Drink a lot of water.
The air inside of an airplane is as dry as the Sahara desert and it's easy to get dehydrated quickly. Yesterday I packed a shirt that was still very wet because I wanted to wear it that evening on my layover. I let it sit out while at the airport for a couple of hours but it was not getting dry. I thought for sure I was going to have to take a hair dryer to it once I got to my hotel. In hopes that it would get a little more dry during my flight, I hung it on a hanger in the back galley of the plane. Within 30 minutes of my flight, the shirt was dry. That was a great eye opener into just how dry the cabin air actually is and how quickly moisture can be sucked out of you.
Soda and juice are not the same as water. They are both loaded with sugar (or even worse, fake sugar if you drink diet) and soda actually dehydrates you. You need to drink actual water.
So always, always, ALWAYS carry a bottle of water with you because the 1 or 2 little glasses you get during service will not be enough to keep your skin looking nice and your body well hydrated.
